| booger | Something from inside of your nose. [Synonymous] include snot. Unpleasant. |

| up a creek without a paddle | In a difficult situation with no obvious way to get out of it. |
| keep your shirt on | relax ; used to tell someone to be more calm, patient etc |
| blow it | Usually when you blow it, you've done something really foolish. |

| be in cahoots | working together (illegal, dangerous) ; to be working secretly with another person or group, especially in order to do something dishonest |

| get back on your feet | Generally after you've been wiped out - or otherwise fallen on hard times. Getting back on your feet is taking steps to put your life back together (e.g. get a new job). |

| down on your luck | Someone that has had a string of misfortunes occur (I lost my job, then my apartment, then my dog ran away) |
